My Swiss friends agree – fondue is better shared at home. Fondue at a restaurant is too expensive. Until you stumble upon the coziest pop up at the Christmas market in Zurich. It is quite amazing to think the entire structure, floor, tables, candles, fireplace are built just for the Christmas market. If you think this is for the tourists you would be surprised. The second the online reservations open they are “Sold Out” The locals enjoy this local Alpine experience in the heart of Zurich. So make a reservation in advance during a Christmas visit.
