I have visited the Amalfi Coast a few times. It is a place I dream of returning. I never tire of its beguiling jaw dropping beauty. This August my husband Chris and I returned to the quieter cousin of Positano – the charming village of Praiano. We stayed at our favorite mid priced family run hotel – The Locanda Costa Diva. It is situated right on the waters edge of the Bay of Salerno. We checked in and felt the comfortable welcome from the family.. We exchanged stories and saw how their children had grown. It felt so good to be back for another visit. They offered us a cappuccino on the lemon covered terrace as we waited for the room to be finished. I admired the view I so fondly remembered. The rooms have terraces which overlook the sea. Our shower even had a little window to soak in the view. And most importantly in the heat of August, wonderful cooling AC to return to. I knew I was in for a great stay here.
