Everyone in Palermo has been talking about Dolce & Gabbana. We saw fancy greeters at the airport. The restaurant we were excited to try Osteria dei Vespei was closed for the evening with likes of Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Madonna, Robert DeNiro. The famous Duomo di Monreale was building catwalks, doing sound checks, planting new flowers and sod. Piazza Pretoria was shut off as red carpet was unfurled. It looks like an amazing party and fashion show. Unfortunately, no ticket, and no Brad Pitt sightings yet..
