When in Davos you can take the funicular up to the Schatzalp or “Magic Mountain” and bask in the beauty, sunshine, and delicious Alpine food of the region. We found the Panorama at Restaurant Schatzalp. We had the perfect day to sit on the terrace and dine at one of the most scenic restaurants I have ever been to.
Order the spicy goulash soup, alpine macaroni with a side of applesauce, and the capuns – a speciality with is a spätzle like dumpling wrapped in chard, poached, served on vegetable cream sauce and raclette gratinee on top. Order a carafe of local white wine. Sit back and enjoy your slice of Swiss heaven.
