The secret is out on beach club Lido La Pigna in Taormina

Sometimes you find a beach club that has it all. Beautiful setting, relaxing loungers and umbrellas, calm, clear water. Oh, and did I mention it is right next door to the super lux property – Hotel Villa Sant’Andrea. Same five star view, beach, and water for a fraction of the cost. The vibe is much more local, with a energetic staff, great pizza, and lots of icy gelato and granita. I spotted this great find while having a drink at the Villa Sant’Andrea. Villa Sant’Andrea is definitely a treat, yet Lido La Pigna could be an affordable daily indulgence when visiting Taormina. I hope it stays the hidden gem for many years to come.
