NOLA Jazzfest weekend – Laissez le bon temps rouler!

New Orleans is one of my favorites if not my favorite American cities. It has it all – amazing food, music, architecture, served with a good shot of southern hospitality. I had never been to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival. It does not disappoint. Two weekends of twelve stages of every kind of music imaginable – jazz, blues, gospel, zydeco, R&B, rock. It is a rich gumbo of diverse musical talent. It was hot and sunny. A good hat, a folding chair and plenty of sunscreen were all needed to enjoy this one of a kind festival. Throw in unique food stalls serving endless helpings of fried chicken, crawfish, jambalaya, and every type of po boy sandwich imaginable. Quench your thirst with plenty of icy beers, lemonade, and sweet tea. Just keep dancing and repeat…

I love New Orleans. Such a unique city with rich history of French influence, creole language, amazing food and ghosts stories.
    Enjoy!
